This is a fantastic antique French carved mirror, the scroll details at the upper corners are simply stunning. The entire frame is carved, with repeating scroll and leaf details. Another gorgeous detail of this mirror is the extension of one of the beaded portions all the way up above the top line of the mirror, finished in a soft scroll, giving this mirror a whimsical look. It can be hung on a wall, above a vanity, leaned on a mantel (fireplace) or as we have it displayed, sitting on top of a beautiful chest of drawers.

This mirror measures 46.5" H x 33.5" W and is 2" deep at the bottom. The top is about 3" D where the larger scroll decoration is. There are some chips and cracks in the frame, though small. Some minor losses of gilt, as well as some spotting on the mirror, although difficult to see in person.
