This antique French floor-length Louis XV style mirror is finished in silver gilt with an ornately carved cartouche at the top of the frame, along with geometric latticing details. The sides of the frame also feature carved details along with beautiful moulding. The mirror itself is quite aged and has a significant portion of loss at the lower right corner (shown). Some of the patination on the silver gilt has been cleaned up, but much remains, revealing all the fine details in the carvings.

Measures 36"W x 71"H x 6"D. The depth is taken at the top of the piece where the cartouche is, the depth at the frame is 2". The back of the mirror is not covered (see images). Piece has surface wear and minor losses, as well as the distressed lower right corner of the mirror.
