The Ibanez RG421PB electric guitar is a descendant of the legendary RG550 from the '80s. It's part of the Ibanez RG series introduced decades ago when metal was king, The introduction of Ibanez RG guitars changed everything for modern guitarists.

The RG421 boasts an eye-catching Caribbean Shoreline Flat Poplar Burl top, Wizard III maple neck, and Ibanez Quantum pickups.

Thanks to its Quantum pickups, you can dial in any tone on the RG421PB, from crystal clear to searing and nasty. These pickups have rich tonal characteristics that give full treble response for distinct single-note solos and buttery harmonic overtones and sustain to provide some serious meat to your playing style.

The mono-unit output jack is made of solid, durable material. It is a single piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which leads to contact failure or disconnection. This innovation allows for long-term playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance.
